What is a time trial? A race of a set distance (10, 25, 50 or 100 miles or 12 or 24 hours) on your own against the clock. Fastest time wins.

What's a mass start race? Usually 60 or so riders start off together and race over a set route. First over line at set distance wins. Simple!
What's a cyclo cross? Like a road race, but over a ploughed field! Good fun!
